Hi fam/faust.
I got carried away by the black friday sales. To be fair I'm a little bit disappointed by the content though. especialy by you Noiise.
Being on the budget, i've got 20euro to spend on apps for the next month (no, it wont be flux fx)
And.. I dont know how to put them all together in one lovely music making tool. Would like your input here.
Ive got samplr, two standalone fx apps, three tweaking/granular apps, 3x synth, one drum module, one master(ing) app, but nothing to glue it. Daw, or daw alike.. Ok ive got garrageband, but..
I would also like to sample from spotify/youtube/external source.slice, arrange, add etc.
Is impc pro good as a workstation?
Comments
Auria Pro will be out any day now and is worth saving up / holding off for.
Always interesting to try and figure what's the workman and what's the tools. I love FLUX. Different ponies etc.

Impc pro is not a good workstation (IMHO).
Isn't MTS in that price range? Or might get BM2 to tide you over while you save up for MTS, Cubasis or Auria Pro.
If impc not..than saving up..but i'm afraid I'll blow it on some candy stuff. what about midi seq? any worth a look for song writing purposes?
Maybe midi seq + auria le would do for now?
tools rather known.gave me ape, for example
Midi sequencer is awesome but it's a one track midi sequencer. Not at all a workstation. Definitely skip Auria LE for the time being.
I know you know this already, and I don't know for certain when, but Auria Pro will very likely be on the plate soon, so you might want to be a little circumspect about spending your money on another, perhaps lesser, DAW until AP is actually out and can be discussed and, thereafter, you can make a further informed opinion. For all of that, and if you're not getting what you need out of Garage Band at this point, and you really can't wait, I would seriously consider the bang-for-the-buck of Nano Studio
Or or you could buy MTS and pick up iSem on 50% sale. That gives you a proper midi DAW with iSem on board as an AU. This is very nice. Then you could drive your other stuff with midi and IAA or AB in. This is more money, but on an Air2 it's very workable.

Thanks so much!
Back in a minute.
You are out of luck, it just gives an annoying beep beep sound, nothing useful I am afraid.
But I already asked for it ...
You are welcome.
I also read somewhere that you can set up Audioshare and Audiobus to function together as a sort of poor man's daw, but can't seem to find the link on how to do it.
