I think you're missing the point.
When you sequence Patterning, there's a hiccup on start and then it follows...
Link or not it will do the same thing...

This is not allways happening to me. I did a quick test in GarageBand with differents patterns and synced fine. Works well is it own too, recording in Audioshare. For that reason I hope Link solve this.

Just out of interest what Ipad model do you have? I have iPad 3 and I get sync problems with lots of apps

  • I got 2: Air 1 and air 2 both iOS 9.2
This happens every time there is external clock.

  • Ipad 2 and Air 2 here, its the same, when syncing to external clock the tempo is different for the first 2-4 bars, then it remin synced, but its unusableif you want to have patterning sounding from the begining of a song, or if you have some tempo changes. Sad

  • Yea, I'm aware of the MIDI sync issue... it looks like I just need to get down to business and come up with a new solution. Once Link comes out though, you really won't want to go back to MIDI clock :) Except of course for dealing with hardware.

Any idea of release or review schedule with Link included ?

Good to know you are working in the sync issue, do you have an estimated date for that fix? I`m waiting for months for useing patterning in my live setup...

I have this hiccup and sync issues in Auria and Cubasis as well and as long as they don't support link (i can imagine this will take some time unti this will happen) the sync issues are not solved just by involving link. And i would love use patterning in a more or less pure hardware setup as well (i.e. jam sesions with other people) ;)
