Oh well,  guess the abstinence will stop.

My name is Andy, and I am an Appaholic.
Guess I'm off the wagon too :D
    At £40 I'm still sober.
Me too at the moment as there is no update for my Auria le that I upgraded via IAP to Auria, so I can't update to version 2. If I bought Auria pro outright, I can't transfer my plugins over.
Still holding off here too, but it is taking a lot of self control.  Only this morning the missus called me an addict cause another £11 on the bank statement for itunes LOL.
I think I'm gonna let the hype and excitment die down, then see what sort of feedback people give once they are using it properly rather than playing with the new stuff.
It is a big investment if you want the IAP's as well
Yep I'm waiting too Andy. It looks well worth it, but with Xmas and all, I want to still be married afterwards ;)
Here's hoping the feedback over the next couple of weeks is good,  and no real issues arise,  and that Santa has a nice £50 iTunes voucher for me.

I must at this point spare a thought for @Monzo If he is reading this on his phone it will be driving him mad what with all these indents
Just one more then for good luck :D
Now now,  that's just mean.
Will it eventually cycle into infinity? :o

Smaller and smaller it goes......where it ends....nobody knows! :o
  • Because at root I'm a contrary bugger and because I've been waiting for The New Auria for so long I might just measure my appaholia by using Caustic/Looptical/Tin Pan/etc etc to write a song this month while I save some pennies up and also let any initial bugs/confusion get sorted out. Feel mostly sorry for things like the new funk drum app and others with their timing. Seemed urgent that I buy it yesterday, not so much today....a good time to remember that Apps are getting better all the time, albeit incrementally, but the ability to hum a good melody or write a great line comes from elsewhere altogether...

    So many pearls there J.

Wifey let me get Cyclop, Egoist, TC11, TCdata, Heavy Brass, Curtis, CP1919, Space, Donut , a Novation sound pack and a four pack of Synthmaster presets in the sale. How rude would it be if I wanted more before Xmas. Glad Auria has an update and works well now with ios9.1. Auria Pro can wait.....back to learning some scales me thinks.

Great to hear that the iPad opens up an easier way to make music for you. I too suffer with pain and love the iPad for its ease of use.

The quality of apps for the prices are astounding and often much better for being more focused.

All a bit of a mess it seems. I can't see the upgrade link (guess I have to update the current version and risk upsetting the apple cart), and even then it's not the 50% we were expecting.
