I've started getting approval messages when trying to post.  Not sure why,  Honest guv I ain't done nothing wrong

    I've noticed this sometimes happens when you post links. The message never gets approved either....

    AndyPlankton what Richard said. Try removing the links and posting it again. Then try editing it and adding the links. Or wait 5 minutes and it'll probably forget it thought you were posting pr0n.

    LMAO......No no  app porn,  they already did that with the Auria screenshots today, only link I posted was earlier,  and that was a link to another topic on this forum.  

    The approval messages are  related to when using Quote,  I get them when using quote but not when I don't use quote.

    I just discovered this when quoting you too peeps above

    I see you are making up for your lost non-approved messages by posting the approved ones 3 times.

    I wonder if it's because the spam parser sees multiple similar looking links when quoting (to user profiles)—just like spammers do when stuffing forums or blog comments. Seems like it should be smart enough to not flag links to the same url though!

    I see you are making up for your lost non-approved messages by posting the approved ones 3 times.

    I tried posting with a quote (before I made a connection).  that failed so I tried again without the quote but typed the name of the guys with an @ in front,  that failed so then posted again with just plain text.

    I seem to be able to post with quotes included now, so either not directly related to quotes or intermittent

    The really clever bit was deleting the duplicates - I didn't know you could do that.

    I didn't,  I never even saw any duplicates...........erm...I mean.....Yeah that was quite clever wasn't it :smile:

    A while back I had problems with this and the cause was that my my id somehow got stuck in the forums anti-spam filter so no messages passed thru. Thankfully it was fixed pretty fast by Sebastian after I sent in a support request.

    Now I'm a happy forumer again :)
