When I am entering a comment, it is fine if I don't make any errors in typing. But if I need to back to correct something, it doesn't accept my typing

  • Anymore...sorry, I tried correct the missing "go" in the comment above. Damn, now I have repeated correct in this sentence...
  • ...which I managed to delete but could not type anything in anymore. This is getting ridiculous!
  • I hadn't seen that previous thread. I'm using an iPad2 by the way, not an iPhone.

Tap out of the text window, then back in.  Sometimes this works.

tap into full screen commenting. Sometimes this works.

close your onscreen keyboard and reopen...

Combination on of the above, sometimes... You get the idea. It eventually will let you finish your comment.

I am having this problem on iOS 8.1.4 on Air 2 .  I know the guys work hard to make this place great, I'm sure it will get sorted soon.

Huh...so you guys are seeing the rich text editor on mobile? It should look like this (that is, just plain text editor)

    I see this..
Ah, I see...looks like it counts the iPad as "mobile". All right, I'll just kill the WYSIWYG editor - too much trouble.
  • Same here ios9 air2 and on ipad 2 ios7 same thing

  • @Michael the WYSIWYG editor on desktop is quite painful too.

Seems there is no way to break up a quote section. You can delete sections of it but I like to answer inline when a person has made several points by splitting the quote. Do you know if this is possible without breaking into HTML?

Yeah, looks like Mike's disabled that now. It's just not great.
