Gadget +iM1

Question for owners of both....

If I get iM1, does it show up in Gadget as Darwin? Or are they different? I don't think so but wanna be sure.
How does iM1 work in Gadget...it has several midi channels...and no sequencer...

In Gadget, is there a way to record different patches in scenes?...Or at least keep different sounds of same patch in scenes?
I thought that a scene would lock whatever i did in scene 1 and scene 2 could have a different sound patch.
so far I didn't manage :'(

Darwin is iM1 minified for Gadget. It copies all the sounds over, so you have all the presets and you can do some basic tweaking. You can use Gadget's sequencer with it, like any other instrument.

As for different patches in the scenes, you can run more than one instance of each Gadget, so just load up a second Darwin, for example, with the second patch dialed in.

  • iM1 is Darwin in Gadget and you can use multiple instances of Darwin with differents patches in each one.

Thanks a bunch  :)  Got that...

I am running into one problem though and that is with a BeatStep Pro, I can't sequence iM1 in standalone mode on 3 channels...l got ch. 1,2,10 on BSP and all it plays is ch. 1?

Since it is a multi channel synthesizer, there shouldn't be a problem? I am in Multi Mode...
Does anybody know? I hope it's possible...

Think I got it LOL....'tupid me....
