lets have a list of apps that have a solid midi output. 
The ones that let's say you can just put in AUria pro midi track, and have midi output from them without any workarounds.

    I can confirm that Nave works fine here too.

    One thing to remember is to make sure Auria Pro has Background Audio mode turned on, otherwise when you go to the other app to play, Auria will suspend.

    Thanks for that list, but I think the focus of that discussion was the list of app that work as iaa instrument (midi in from auria piano roll) but also output the midi when played from there own keyboard, (and will be recorded in auria)

    @yonhorizon I think limiting yourself to apps with good sound and good MIDI output might be simpler but it also means you're missing out on many ways of using the audio/MIDI capabilities of Auria Pro. The most straight forward would be controlling MIDI apps with a hardware MIDI keyboard or pads and recording the MIDI into Auria Pro. This would even work for apps that don't have MIDI out. The next consideration would be that there are many MIDI controller apps with better playability than the built in keyboard of many synth apps. Once again you can simultaneously control the synth app via MIDI from the MIDI app and record it into Auria Pro. Another option would be to import MIDI onto an Auria Pro MIDI track and have it control whatever MIDI synth you want.

    Many of the advanced features of Auria Pro will be at least as complicated to figure out and setup as more complex MIDI/audio routings. It seems to me you'll have the most flexibility and sonic possibilities when you're willing to consider more MIDI options than just within synth apps.

    I'd add Patterning and DM1 to your list.
