Question on Next Auria Pro update

I posted this on Auria forum as well, but there is far more traffic here so...............

I upgraded Auria 2.0 to Auria Pro. Can I wait until the next update to have Lyria, and what ever else I may be missing without having to uninstall Auria and Reinstall?

All my plugins/IAP looks like they transferred fine. But the Lryria stuff still has a price by it in the store. I am not sure how to go about backing up my projects to Dropbox. Between my fam's idevices, I don't seem to have enough space in my icloud account to do an icloud back up. I have ifunbox, but mostly jsut use it to transfer pictures, so that as a back up will be as useful as a dropbox one for me.

Will the Lyria synth, and all its goodness magically port into Auria for me in the next update, or be without the prices? Just curious, I don't want to delete the app.

Thanks

  • I think you are confusing Lyra with Twin 2. All the Lyra samples in the Auria Store are free AFAIK, but the Twin 2 presets cost money.

To back up an Auria Project to Dropbox just go to Menu --> Project --> Save Project to Dropbox. This can take a while on big projects, especially if you have a slow connection.

To unlock the Twin 2 bug without deleting, one option is to buy one of the preset packs form the store - that unlocked the synth for me. I'm not sure if the next update will fix the bug without having to reinstall, Rim will hopefully let you know.

Ok, ya I am prob. getting a lot confused. lol. I did read about the buying a preset. Gonna do that. ASAP thanks!

I guess maybe I'm not sure how to access the synth. The manual might be a good place to start huh.

  • To access the synth create a new MIDI track, hit the FX button to open the Channel Strip and in the MIDI tab you can select an instrument, either internal or external. In the Drop-down select Twin 2 or Lyra, and then tap the "e" button to open the instrument.
