You can actually also add Gog files without iTunes or iFunbox if you zip them up with the right folder structure first.

Your root folder should be named Gog Files and then you have one sub folder below that. If you use Open In to get the zip into Auria it will automatically get unpacked in the right place.

Ok, doesn't sound impossible at all, thanks.

iTunes I'm afraid or ifunbox. There is a Gog folder where you can put single Gog files, although folders make more sense for finding files in Drumagog itself. You can also put other audio files (wav's I think) although they only play back that single instance of course.

Is there any way of creating gog files within the Auria version of Drumagog?
I do have a rather large library of multi-velocity drum samples I carry around with me (well, in Dropbox), it would be great if I could combine them into gog files within Drumagog (in Auria) too!

Right now I have mainly been using those drum samples when I set up DrumPerfect, as my sample library has all the samples needed for making DrumPerfect happy (4 hi/lo for each hand/foot, totalling 16 samples/drum).

  • As far as I know the only way to create Gog files is by using the desktop version of Drumagog. I am thinking of getting it though.

  • After some tests and another few nights of non-test I can now confirm that the desktop version is the way to do Drumagog files. That is however possible with the trial version of it as well, so if you can fit in your drumagog making into a 14-day trial (I could) you don't need to buy it for that purpose alone. Having said that, I would probably not mind having the desktop version either. For now though I will be spending those $99 (current price of desktop Drumagog) on FabFilter plug-ins for Auria instead. :)

I had Jamup before I got Auria Pro, but it doesn't seem to work as an IAA in AP. I am reluctant to have to buy it again as an IAP, is there a way ti use my exusting Jamup, or have AP recognise that I have it? (apologies for all the abbreviations!)

  • @oat_phipps, that's exactly what I do. Between Timeless and Saturn, you get pretty wicked sounds. Some of the Saturn presets use a lot of CPU, when you get multiple modulations happening. If it gets crazy, you need to freeze as many tracks as you can.

  • That's correct, all FabFilter plugins are 25% off until the end of the year.

@WaveMachineLabs Are the FabFilter Twin2 presets on sale too? I can't remember how much they normally are, but I picked up 3 of them in the last sale and really dig pretty much all of them I grabbed.

  • I love Auria, I love Fabfilter, I love Lamp, and I love the word inlogical. (I mean no offense, it’s a cool wording)

    As I have your attention:

Why don't you promote that in any way?

This seems so inlogical and unnecessary.

    Is there actually a reason?

Or just so that nobody at the company cares?

    IMHO ;)

  • I'm in the process of setting up our e-mails and Facebook campaigns now. This sale goes on until the end of the year, so not to worry - there's still plenty of time ;) . The last sale I ran (in November) went out via FB, Twitter, the Audiobus forum and our own forum, as well as being advertised on iTunes and the Auria store. Sorry you missed it!
