iOS 9.2 out now
Just got notified on my iPad Pro. Can't see anything relevant for music making in the description. So who will go first? :-)
Comments
The only thing related I have heard is about improving playback audio via Bluetooth (info coming fom beta version).
I'm on it already
Though this time i 'chicken-out' a little and will do a full backup first...
Just updating because you can now add "big size" files with Mail via Mail Drop.
Its sorting out this problem on iPad Pro https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7336081?start=0&tstart=0
Oh, I guess I should install it then. Although until now I haven't had that problem.
Maybe you had "Hey Siri" enabled, which was a temporary fix, no joke.
LOL, don't think so. I just got it a few hours ago, though and I'm still cleaning up the incredible mess the restore from the mini caused on it. So many apps and it didn't leave them in the folders...
I read about this problem everywhere and every tech news site was making a big deal about it but it's been 3 weeks with my iPad pro and never had it, Siri is off all the time.
The people at Apple seem to have solved the CPU-hogging problem a bit with ios 9.2 On 9.1 The CPU would still use up to 85% on my iPad Air1 without any apps running. Now with 9.2 I can get it down to about 64%
What App are you using to see the cpubusage with no load on iPad?
Hope they fixed that shit. They broke my Sony MW600 receiver, which I use to stream music into my car's stereo. It was horror. Kept disconnecting and I got glitches when sound was playing through the iphone's speaker or headphones. Had to restart every time.
holy fak! midi editor is back to life! just updated to 9.2 and decided to give it a try, because i just love that sequencer so much, and i had hope, well, just a tiny bit, and it works!
so thats a good thing to come from 9.2.
What app is that? Midi editor
Do you have a link?
i wonder if they'll ever fix the constant failures of the mail app to move inbox messages to the trash.
What I find weird is that on Air 1, I get active memory 400mb, free mem. 300mb the rest wired etc...
On air 2 I get 1.17gb!!! active, and free 615mb.
How is that possible? Air 2 takes 1gb to work? And leaves 600 my free? On same iOS system?...AND Air 1 less than half?
I spend time daily dealing with these issues. Not kidding, it drives me nuts.
I'm almost OCD with it.
the 'close door' button in an elevator doesnt really close the door. there are parallels.
What? But I'm pressing it and pressing it....
http://nikolozi.com/apps/midieditor/
its a very simple sequencer. no time signature changes, no midi cc, just velocity & grid settings like tripplets. and no sync in, so if you want to sync it with auria for example, no can do.
but i love it so much for how fast and simple and to the point it is.
When I say that I'm looking for the "close the door" button, what I really mean is I am looking for the "slam doors now" button. Sometimes I'd even like a "crush" button.
So,only a few comments here...does that mean it's save to update or does that mean only a minority did the update? Anyone here with Air 2 on 9.2 now?
Maybe a coincidence but since I installed 9.2 the back button works as expected on this forum
Same here.
^ me too. That was bugging the hell out me.
That might be worth doing the upgrade by itself.
That's true!, didn't realized that until you mentioned.
Me too! But wait, I’m using Safari 9.0.2 on OS X 10.11.2 on a MacBookPro — suddenly it now doesn’t need logging back in each time.
There are by definition almost always coincidences,
If there were no such thing as coincidence, there would be no such word....
Word.
