Yes it works, it's cool app but maybe not for the instant gratification crowd.
I had the DS one a few years ago. You can do some interesting tempo stuff with it if it's the same.
I actually won a comp from Cinemax, mainly cause I think the UK got it first and I got on day of release.
It was really good on DS but with other options on iOS I don't know if I'll get, on the fence...
