    Very cool!

I think so too! But I'm not just certain how that's going to help me get my own cat skinned. How do you see it?

  • Yay!

    (What's mic swop pro?)

A bunch of mic sims with a variety of environments. Doug did a thing. Haven't actually used it for real-actual-singalong recording YET, but I like it....

    Thanks @JohnnyGoodyear . Looks like it's £14.99 though. And I don't do a whole lot of singing.

Would it produce any good effects on anything else? Or really mash vocal samples or anything.

I could really do with a nice 'bit crush' AU actually. And a good quality, straight LPF / HPF. All for MTS.

I don't think this is the bit crush you're looking for. It's pretty for its purpose, but don't think you need it.

I see it as a wonderful way to emulate the sound of skinning your cat in various rooms, with misc mics, and a handful of purrrrfect compressors!

  • Use MicSwap Pro as an effect in Audiobus and you can feed any sound through it. Crank the gain, change the mic and alter it's sound. My favorite use is to crush drums by cranking the gain and feeding it through the old timey mic. Cranking the gain really distorts the sound beautifully.

    Never thought of this...thanks

  • D'oh. Me neither. Another weapon in the war....

  • @JohnnyGoodyear - thanks... I've resisted thus far - mainly down to the price.
