  • Hey Alex good to see you back on the 'scene'! :)

I just tried to play the youtube links on the site via my iPad without success. The Audulus Vimeo link worked though.

Cheers. Good luck with the site.

@SpookyZoo Glad to be back! :)

Thanks, I'll take a look at that. Was that the video at the top of the homepage? I've taken it down for now. I think the other youtube vids work fine.

  • Yeah maybe. The others are working fine now.

I've fixed it now, thanks for pointing that out. It was supposed to be opening up in a lightbox.

On a side note, the Rytmik app looks awesome. I've watched that video about 5 times now! Gonna have to pick it up I think :)

  • Glad to see you really back. I used to go to your sight before anywhere else daily.

  • Awesome to see your site, and how much it reminds me of the idesignsound site. So now that you're back on the IOS scene, how can we help make you and your site a success? I'll definitely be checking it out from now on..

I've had it running on some cheap shared hosting while I was building it and I only upgraded the server package yesterday just before I posted here. Although the upgrade says it's been completed now (according to my email) so it should be faster. I also setup CDN last night so that should help, but according to the control panel nothing has been cached so far, which seems odd. Might have to give them a ring. Problem is that I can't just cache the pages to disk because almost every page has dynamic content. It should be better than this though!

I dislike that you can't see the text boxes when signing up unless you click into them - not great for the visually-impaired like myself. Other than that, sweet site! Thanks for featuring us (or I guess, thank alphabetical order!)

EDIT: NM, I see it's in order added :)

@Audulus_Mark I'll take a look at that and make the boxes clearer!

The front page is most recent, the app categories and keyword search are set to alphabetical, although there is a sort order option on the left at the top of the search form). There's also a random order selection.

ps. I've just featured the Audulus 3 video at the top of the site ;-)

    @A_Happy_Ted thank you!

    No problem

  • Any features on the website that you'd like to see?

  • Repository of available YT app tutes by app.

  • I've been adding official videos to the app description pages. Do you mean third party videos like those from Doug? I could have a separate area for tutorial videos I guess.

Your call. That's the lovely thing about being head cook and chief bottle washer :) I would presume you would want your site to be a 'renewable resource' as regards visitors and to do that, as you know, you need content and profile. Etc etc etc.
