MusicStudio
I'm trying to cut down on apps to free up some more space. I hardly use MusicStudio, but really like some of the sounds.
I'm thinking I would like them in BeatHawk or maybe BeatMaker 2. Any ideas on the quickest way to achieve sampling the sounds? What app would make a good workflow for making a sample list of the instruments at different octaves, that I could then use in other apps?

I keep coming back to beat twirl for this kind of thing as it the only app I know that can detect and export individual slices
Downside is it's not working in AB at the moment. But I'm told a fix is "in the works"
I don't think it's been abandoned. It's had a few recent updates, one to allow IAA and an update for iOS9. It was my first iOS DAW. I still use it sometimes, most recently for the drum samples.
Music Studio hasn't been abandoned it was BeatTwirl that looked like it had. Hasn't been updated in ages but I just saw Beattime get an update so I mailed the developer and he assured me an update for BeatTwirl is "in the works".
What I would do.
Audioshare record them.
Save them to Dropbox.
From there into your sample player of choice.
Cubasis has easy and efficient one that allows for MIDI.
The octave range of what will be required to record is up to you how deep and precise you want to get.
There are a variety of ways to do what you want. Alot of work for those sounds.
However, you can get the sounds with many other apps.
Looptical for instance has nearly same sounds.

The symphonic/classical sounds in MS are based on Sonatina Symphony Orchestra, which is free in sf2 and sfz format. You can extract the samples from those formats pretty easily.
Thanks for all the suggestions
beat twirl, awesome
