Finally!!!
Nice update. Thanks for the heads up.
This app had loads of Virtual MIDI issues and bugs. The one I experienced yesterday has now been solved (e.g. Alchemy now works through Chordion).
Now I just need to see if it works nicely with Loopy - nothing would record before with that combo of apps.
Polychord is the more versatile of the two imho.
Please can anyone tell me how to record Chordion MIDI in a Cubasis midi track...
@Syngularity. Just go into chordion midi and set both to virtual midi channel 1 and And set cubasis midi in and out channels to all ports and all channels, then load whatever inst in cubasis you want hear. Hope this helps!
@Bootsy, sorry, I tried this but no recording happened, when I play the Magellan input in Chordion as second AB input, Cubasis won't record this?!
Open Magellan first in input then chordion, so chordion controls Magellan. Do you want to record the audio from this or midi notes? When you do it this way you should get 2 audio tracks on will be recording audio from Magellan. The other audi track from chordion will only record the drums from chordion because you'll have the audio set to virtual midi.
Yes, did this before... first Magellan then Chordion, virtual midi was okay and I could play that Magellan preset with Chordion (and now after the Chordion update even the arp). I just want to record the midi notes in Cubase as AB output for further editing...
Ok, and you have a cubasis midi track open? And the midi track in cubasis is set to all ports on both in and out and the midi channel's are set to all? I've been doing this with chordion and a bunch of different apps and its been working perfect.
Hey All, There is an unfortunate bug with virtual MIDI (and the Arp) in this version of Chordion (1.2.1) that has been resolved and submitted to Apple for approval. Hope to have it up shortly, but it's hard to know exactly when. Thanks for your support! - Ben / Olympia Noise Co.

Thanks!
Yes, works fine with Chordion alone and internal Cubasis instruments... But when I try the way I mentioned - playing Magellan with Chordion and recording midi into Cubase... no notes with come in... All ports and Channels for In and out... I'm very tired... but would like to thank your for your great help efforts :-)
No problem! I know how it goes!
Guys a short walkthrough how to control nanostudio with Chordion? im having trouble with nanostudio's virtual midi.
@Evangelos are you on the newest version of Chordion? Please read above, there is a bug that is likely the issue. The fixed version is waiting for Apple approval.
great update ,chordion kick ass !
@benkamen Thank you for the midi fix info, we will wait patiently :-)
Everything is good now... lovely chords and arps appear in the Cubase midi track... going to write a review :-)
@Syngularity Great to hear all is well, Thanks!
Nice app. Would like to see some presets for different sounds.
Is there a noise:cloud website I can go visit and listen/get some samples of other Chordian sound creations ?
Thanks for all the hard work guys.
@benkamen
2 things
just tried polychord and found Chordion to be much superior as an instrument, this confirms just how well thought out UI is. lol
there is a noticeable stutter when moving to and from Chordion when using it as a midi controller. I wondered if there's anything could be done on your part? Thanks
P.s. Regarding point 1 I find arp and drum matrix a bit fiddly to use, especially when using outdoors. A zoom function like in IVCS3 or turnado would be great or just rethink on use of screen space. Other than that fantastic app, I'd say alongside Impaktor one of the most innovative and usable apps as a real instrument for a live environment.
Price drop yesterday $3.99 -> $1.99. The last sale didn't last long, so grab it quick before it's gone.
