apogee duet and auria
Does anyone use apogee duet with auria? I haven't been able to get it to work. I tried tonestack today independently and it was fine but running it through IAA into auria pro there was no signal. I used to use a focusrite itrack and it was fine with auria. I also tried audiobus with bias fx in the input and auria pro in output but bias showed an error in the input. Can't say I've tested AB too much yet but I really can't get any signal into auria. I have ipad air with latest IOS.

Hi, I have a Duet for a year now and I use it with Auria all the time. I can't say that your problem makes me think of a logical cause. Did you try just to run Auria without inserting ToneStack ? Just a simple and light session ? If it works, you could try to insert another IAA than ToneStack, and if it works, then maybe ToneStack's settings need to be look closer...
But again, as it is said on the Auria documentation, Apogee is part of the compatible hardware approved by WaveMachine, so there's a pretty good chance your problem is coming from your IAA connection (check Auria's setting: monitor in, source rec in and so on)
I tried playing through overloud and no signal. I also tried jam-up through IAA. I'll check that monitor setting.
Unplug what? Anyway, playing around with the input matrix I could get a signal to show but couldn't hear it. Playback sounds horrible noise, like when auria is overtaxed by a million effects, except I have none switched on and it doesn't stop playback. The waveform is stereo but only one of the waveforms shows a recording. I tried adding a mono track and a stereo but they both look like stereo with the dual waveforms. Now even the gadget track in track 1 I was playing too sounds terrible, like the cpu is overloaded. Jam-up and tonestack sound great away from auria.
I found the trouble with the cpu drain: apogee's meta recorder activates and causes the noise. However, I still can only get a good guitar sound through audiobus (track 4) although i couldn't hear while playing even though the AB monitor is activated in settings. Track 2 in the png above is just track 1's audio recording on to two.
