Auria Pro:Does "Spectrum Grab" work in Pro Q 2?

edited December 2015 in General App Discussion

Hi, I've upgraded yesterday to Pro Q 2 in Auria Pro and do not know if mentioned function is implemented somehow in the iOS-Version, cause mouse-hoovering is not possible on a touchscreen. Thanks in advance for any info!

According to the online manual it should work, but I can't seem to get it to. This is what the manual says:

If the Post-EQ or Pre-EQ analyzer is active, and you tap and hold above the spectrum for a few seconds, Pro-Q 2 will automatically enter Spectrum Grab mode. Existing EQ bands will be dimmed while the spectrum freezes. You can now simply grab one of the peaks in the white output spectrum line, and drag to adjust!
After dragging a peak and removing your finger from the screen, the interface will revert back to normal again
and you'll see the new EQ band that has just been added, so you can customize it if needed.

  • Thanks for checking it back! I've read this manual-passage too and I was also not able to activate "Spectrum Grab"-mode. I can't find any alternative way to enable this mode, like multitouch, or doubletap.

  • I'll file a bug on this one, looks like it's broken.

  • I could at least 'hold' the live thru spectrum by tapping inside of it, same as 'freeze' function, and selecting an eq point by proxy, (while the fabfilter guys are on it ...)

  • I've asked them about this feature and am waiting to hear back what they say.

    Rim
