Guys, need the right steps for upgrading from Auria 2.0 or higher after update. Thanks in advance.

  • Just go to Menu/Auria Store/Upgrades

  • Thanks! Just wanted to avoid any pitfalls before upgrading.

  • So am I correct that those who upgraded to Auria Pro earlier in the year with the promotion that they would be able to upgrade to the new version for about $25 as oppose to $50 are now expected to pay full retail?

  • No, that's not true. I never announced an upgrade price. You're probably reading a press release where I mentioned what the price of Auria Pro and standard Auria would cost ($49.99 and $24.99). In that same press release I mentioned that an upgrade to Auria Pro would be available to existing users at a discounted price, but that price was never announced.

  • Thanks Rim for such an amazing DAW! Just upgraded yesterday with no issues whatsoever!
Backed up my projects via dropbox which took long, and just in case, bit the whole upgrade from Auria 2.0 to Pro went smoothly.

As i read in you Auria forum, to Apple even tho I upgraded to Pro, they see it as the original Auria. No biggie to me as all the features of Pro are in, the synths, midi joy, etc etc!

Big thanks for the discount price too! Wishing it was more but you really deserve it for an amazing DAW product.

    Rock on!!!!

  • I liked the upgrade to 2.0 and I'm glad I spent a little time with that to see what was new. No small matter. But having decided not to send the kid to college after all I'm really pleased I dived in and went with Pro. Yeah, there's work to be done still, of course, always, but it's a hell of a machine and if I compare raspberries to walnuts it's worth every damn penny.

I think you are right, I think back now I remember that the words were "at a discount" with no price listed. I think I assumed it would end up being the same price overall if I bought Pro back then and then upgraded again to the new version of Pro. I really needed the MIDI functionality, I bought Pro when I did based on the idea of it discounting my Auria Pro 2 purchase. In the end I should have just waited and bought the new Auria Pro when it was released.

  • Just bought it ( a three hour meeting was sapping my will to live and I just couldn't wait til Christmas morning. Note to self, burn credit card)
I can't touch it yet, but once I'm outta work and on the train I fear I may miss my stop.

Voice from the heavens cries 'Wait, Vorgon! At least read the manual first.'

Once again, I'm gonna ignore the voice.
