Third from right, with the sunglasses?............ Thats Ron Jeremy, the Porn Star isn't it?......... Now that is Epic!........
I recognise one of those faces....
What?
Says better than epic though..........
and....Auria Pro already be here, so..............
So who is the best super group of all time? Is it CSN&Y? The Travelling Willburys?
Here's something Epic...RIGHT NOW:
@CalCutta I LOVE Faith No More
Ya like Mr. Bungle? One of the cooler live shows I ever saw...
For me it would be Transatlantic - but you are excused if you've never heard of them (unless you are into Prog, in which case, shame on you!)
Oh ... and Damn Yankees. They were super

Sorry
@eustressor @CalCutta Faith No More "The Real Thing" most epic... Every single song emotionally and musically bleeds into the next. Damn gotta go dig it out. I say this not to start an argument as to which album is better.
For me that album came along in a most stressful and horrid point in my life. Singing along and banging my head was cathartic if you know what I mean. Musically it stands with the rest of their discography as just as awesome.
People been in my pants again!
But my fiend, this is what you wished for...or rather, you demanded.
I saw FNM on that tour with SoundGarden and Voivod. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. It was...wait for it................Epic!!
Yes, I guess so. Still waiting on something else though.

I saw that show! VoiVod is so awesome (I'm a big fan)! And FNM rocked it out
That's awesome! One thing you may not have seen at your show, was...This guy in front of us, had long curly hair. This girl with him kept setting his hair on fire with a lighter, then patting it out. Several times. Guys hair was so thick he never noticed.
Nothing Face is my fav. Their newest one, is pretty dang good. The guy plays so close to Blacky it's eerie.
Always meant to look into Transatlantic, but always seem to get distracted. The big draw for me is that Pete T. is on bass, as he is with Marillion, who are among my favorites.
Ahh, the days when all too many people had all too much hair to spare, poor hairy dude. Bet he was either a lead singer or a drummer in his own band
Ahh, so nice to meet another Voi Vod fan. So awesome, so influential to so many of the groups that have been big in the metal scene the last 20 years, but so unknown to the general public. One of the most amazing things about NothingFace for me is the production. It is one of the most unique hard rock/heavy metal productions I've ever heard. Every instrument sits in it's own space and you can just pick out every last detail of that guy's playing, whether it's the drums, bass, guitar or vocals. Absolutely nothing is buried or lost in the mush. Super clean with air to spare - and yet it's still bonecrunchingly heavy. Good stuff.
I like everything they've done with Snake since "Killing Technology." I didn't get either of the albums they did in the late 90s without him, but have the three since the reunion. So sad Piggy was dead for two of those albums, but so cool he remembered to tell Away where his ProTools tracks were on his laptop, where he had over two album's worth of songs guitar parts already recorded. And then died like a week later, poor guy.
OK, should probably manage some expectations here. When it drops, (very soon) it will be most Epic, possibly on a par with FNM's cover of "Easy" ... but not Voi Vod Epic. We're just not Canadian enough ... I mean, look at that country's track record (minus Bieber and Bryan Adams). They gave us Rush, VoiVod, Triumph, Neil Young, Bob & Doug McKenzie and Captain Kirk!
Bieber cancelled it all out though ;-)
"The Canadian Government has already apologized several times for Bryan Adams."
Y'all are forgetting the superstar that is Gordon Lightfoot.
But in all seriousness, Canada has given the world questionable (at best) hip hop talent. Everyone has their own opinions on Drake, but I'll never forgive Canada for Swollen Members.
@eustressor
Oh dammit, I meant Piggy. Blacky was founding member on da Bass, but ya after Piggy died..... And ya, Snake, I forgot they did some albums without him. ever even listened to them....He has a crazy good voice. . The latest, Target Earth is sooo good. It's almost as if Piggy is playing the riffs.
Yes the production is mint on NF. The amount of Time Changes in each song is quite interesting and cool as well. It happens so abrupt, but doesn't sound that way at all in the music. Gonna be listening to it tonight for sure.
"Does any one know where the love of God goes
When the waves turn the minutes to hours ..."
I had a chat once with Pete T after a gig by Kino, yet another band he was in. Nice guy! You definitely should check out Transatlantic.
Will do @PhilW. I met Pete on the Cruise to the Edge 2014 tour along with Rothery and Hogarth. All are great guys.
