  • Perhaps getting help from MoForte tidying up prior to the pending release of "GeoShred".

  • Cool, just noticed that as well. I completed my bundle and got Tachyon. I think for free since I paid full price for the other 3 apps in the bundle I guess. It's a cool little app. Does it have Audiobus or IAA? I had heard it doesn't, and hasn't been updated for awhile.

I'm not sure, but this much I can tell you--I had no intention of buying another poorly supported app from that company. This renews my faith (to some extent) in the company.

It has Audiobus, and therefore has IAA Generator mode. :-)

    Cool beans, thanks!

  • what was wrong with it, what got fixed?

Had the same thought, noticing these updates.

It had UI issues; Audiobus didn't work; it would crash on startup. (I use an iPhone exclusively, so I'm only speaking of iPhone usage). Basically, it needed to be updated to work properly on iOS 9 and it needed the updated Audiobus SDK.

Never got round to it. Presuming it's working well enough now, what is it from functionality-standpoint that makes it worth the candle?

  • a very good tool for mangling samples. I don't have it yet but from what it looks like I would rather use it to mangle samples in a controlled environment than use the keyboard version of idensity

  • An alternative to Samplr?

  • it's one of those maschine /mpc cases..... look similar but not that similar, but if you like one you probably will like the other.

  • I don't have SampleWiz, but there's a good YT video (Samplr meets SampleWiz with Jordan Rudess) that compares the two.

  • Oh, okay! Definitely not the kind of thing I'm into.

    All the best!

  • Did anyone managed to get midi working for waveform position?

  • Got a reply from support
"As with the vertical note position, you'll need a polyphonic controller that sends notes to different channels and then sends CCs to the appropriate channels to match the notes."

So midi notes must be in the same channel with the controller. Stuff get interesting when you assign different notes to different channel and set the corresponding CC channel for each note . Every note now ,has independent tweakable waveform position ,cool!
But it resets every time you release the note. Hope they fix that ...

PS. Samplewiz supports polyphonic after touch for separate per note volume.

  • No idea what I'm doing (I know, I know...), but this is way cooler than I had imagined (which had been my rationale these many years for not buying etc).
