routing to specific outputs
Hi - I'll start by saying I'm really new to Audiobus, so I don't have much experience using it. I was wondering if it might be able to solve a problem I have. I use an iPad Air with an iConnectAUDIO4+ (a 6 output audio interface for iOS). In a live situation, I use SetList Maker to send backing tracks to outputs 3/4. That works great because the app lets me specify the output. I also use VocaLive (which doesn't let me) and it forces the output to go to stereo 1/2. I would ideally like to use something to force it to go to only output 1 or 2. This would then leave an extra untouched output that could be used for a synth or something else. Basically, I want dedicated outs that I can send to FOH, so they can mix it there.
Can Audiobus do this for me or am I barking up the wrong tree?

You might want to look at MiMix. I think that might accomplish what you're trying to do.
I think MIMix only sends in stereo pairs.
Auria, may be overkill, but it has an extensive routing matrix that could do this. And if you really don't need the full DAW, Auria LE is cheaper $12.99
Is that something that you can just sort of "set and forget" in a live situation? I'm ideally looking for something that requires as little interaction as possible. I'll explore it, though. Thanks.
Yes it does but You can always had pan left or right a port so it will only use one channel.
Connect port1 to out1-2, pan left / port2 to out1-2, pan right / port3 to out3-4 pan left / port4 to out 3-4 pan right.
This way You will have 4 apps going to 4 distinct mono channels.
ooh that sounds cool. MiMix might be what I need. Even though Auria is only $20, I don't need a DAW on my iPad - This might be the ticket... Thanks guys!
Yes, thanks! I had not thought of panning.
