iTunes description says "Audio Units are coming soon. You'll be able to use NOISE as a synth in your favourite iOS DAW - stay tuned..."
iOS 9 or later folks just to be clear.
Thank you, firejan82.
No problem. I'm a fan of polyphonic glide and there are some nice sounds but there's no way to record without cables and it seems to be a bit cpu heavy for my 32 bit devices.
Yawn..look.quite clever but where the fuck.is cream!!!!!
Looks awesome. I'm still on iOS 8 though, but if I ever get an iPhone 6s this would be lovely to have on it.

when they mention controllers they have a pick of the linnstrument and an Ableton Push 2, I know the linnstrument runs mpe but does Push, I hadn't heard that before?
IOS 8 checkin' in
Only reason I did this was for Zed and IM from Korg.
IOS9 on my 6plus and things seem like they never run 100% smooth for entire session for me. On my phone that means 55 mins of cardio or when waiting in car.
Otherwise I just use my IPhone as AB Remote controller.
IOS9 has no interest to me from my experiences so far, but, I am sure there will be aday
The Synth on Noise 5D can be controlled with Geo Synth using the voice per channel option so it's added to the small list of synths that support this plus they say they'll be adding Audio Unit capability soon. It also does Bluetooth MIDI.
Some really nice sounds with dynamic control, and the base app is free! But without AB or IAA, it is of limited use at the moment (until AU support is added).
The Force Touch Awakens
The Force is strong with this one - great fun!
Fun little app, some nice sounds with it.
This app would be great to play on an iPad Pro. With the glide turned up, it is too easy to accidentally hit the adjacent notes on a 10 inch iPad. With an iPad Pro, you could turn on the controls and have a good amount of space to hit notes accurately; especially if you need two octaves.
If you switch the side bar on you can opt for a keyboard with less and bigger keys
Nice!

The iPad version will come early next year (from their facebook).
Will the iPad version be a more complete version of Equator? I would hope so.
If I had the money, the Roli Rise would be an instant buy. However, I am saving my money to upgrade to an iPad Pro from my iPad Air 2. Being a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer along as an advanced hobbiest musician, I am very interested in the Apple pencil. So, the iPad Pro makes sense for visual art. If the iPad Version of equator is closer to the full desktop version, an upgrade to the iPad Pro would make performing on an iPad Pro even more desirable.
I doubt they will release a full version for iOS (like a lot other developers) because it could cut the marge from their hardware. I think we are still going to see only "player" versions in near future.
I was today looking for some new toys and played again with an iPad Pro and an iPhone 6S plus.
At the moment i would def. prefer the iPhone since the iPad Pro is overpowered and without 3D touch it would have no benefits for me. When i hold it for a while i know that it´s not a comfortable form factor for me and when i put it on my legs and have to look down it is the worst thing i can do with my alreaday damaged neck.
A notebook is better for me in this case.
The iPhone 6S plus looks really nice and i think Mitosynth, Animoog, Noise 5D etc. (the Rise works indeed great via bluetooth with all these apps) could be great on it. But then it´s maybe a bit too big for a thing i want to carry always with me. I damaged my iPhone 5 at work and a new one would be too expensive for such dangerous places
Maybe it´s just the best to buy nothing and use the things i have until they finally break and then i can see what´s on the market. Not even sure if i can make use of all this tools in some months/years.
I have so many huge synths which would take a lifetime to master.... maybe time to start there
I am happy to hear Noise 5D will appear on the IPad. I have the iPad Pro and it does not scale to full screen like it does on the iPad. That said, given your graphics needs, I would definitely get the iPad Pro as it will be a great surface for the Noise 5D app. Also, while Nosie currently does not seem to support midi in or out, it does show up in ThumbJam as a destination under the name Equator
