  • Worth going back into the past?

  • I don't know. But if the dev works on an app that I've bought, I'll reinstall it to check it out.

    Let's call it "fair play".

I agree. More than anything I always hope that suddenly a small old gem will have been polished for prime time....ever the optimist :)

  • Haven't used it in awhile, but when I did, I considered it one of the more underrated rhythm apps on iOS. It's universal, reads 16-instrument kits with zip files, has full sequencing and velocity/pitch step control. Doesn't have the depth of features of some advanced iPad Apps but covers a ton of features very well.

Bummer if they didn't add Ableton Link though, I'm impressed with that in MoDrum and some of the other apps I've tried it with.

It's quirky, and I guess as apps age (in comparison etc) they appear more and more quirky...BUT having just refreshed my memory a little, it CAN make a good noise and AB seems to be working well enough. Might be one of those objects that is simple enough but good enough to come up with a beat with (or maybe a fill or a middle 8 etc) when more clever items don't so quickly get the job done....

Worthless drum machine if you want to play via external keyboard or sequencer.
    MIDI in nonexistent except on/off
