John Zorn and friends (Mark Ribot, Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn & more) put together a great Christmas album a few years back. Good stuff. A significant number of the tracks are more "out there" than this version of The Christmas Song, which is also stellar.
Can't forget Manhiem Steamroller. I was a kid when the first album came out and some tracks have been on my mix CDs and playlists ever since.
