Not just for loop/stem export and live play (joy) anymore....

what's the lowest bpm that praxis can go?
@kobamoto
Top end, not that anyone asked, is 999bpm. (?!)
nice
Fills a gap? Breaks new ground?
This ones changed a lot since first release.
Funny because its stand out feature is precisely how it allows you to fill gaps in a 16 step sequence.
You know that iSequence itch? It's like that, in that there's the grid and samples.
Here there's 16 tracks, IAA, AB, Audioshare, Dropbox support, MIDI integration (send notes clock and control, receive clock) variable pattern length, export row loop...
The unique thing it does is slice "hits" as fine as 128ths, with each slice variable for pan (hard left to hard right or anywheres in between), vol. (all the way on, all the way off or anywhere between), and pitch (two octave range), up to 16 times inside a 1/4 note. Which means different things if it's a Kick drum, or vocal or melodic sample.
Doesn't have all the beloved iSequence's stuff (no onboard sample slice, no keys or pads to play, no per channel fx - only global but automatable). Playing it (until song mode arrived) has been looping the grid, and toggling the tracks, hits and the various sliders and #of slices in real time.
Not at all limited (to glitch, or trap or) and not for everyone, but page one for me.
@Littlewoodg Excellent bolts and nuts. Have a very good sense of the thing now. Must admit I've been pining for the iSequence that never came quite a bit these past few weeks....
Might be your Spidey-sense: 'cause then the new Beepstreet synth went live...that's when I got another iSequence twinge. I hope he's not through with his iOS work: iSequence 3, with AU Sunrizer and Dagger onboard...
does praxis have Link yet?
No Link, yet.
grrr
Weird int it? Once you kiss the girl you didn't even know last week going back to the old youth club just isn't the same anymore...
haha ain't it the truth
Hopefully it's a "yet", I already wrote em about it... [email protected]
It happened to a mate of mine......... He found out she was a he years later. Lol
how the hell do you get praxis to stay on the second pattern while you play and edit it, no matter what I do it keeps returning to the first pattern, doesn't matter whether I have loop activated or disabled it keeps returning to pattern 1?
k finally figured it out, that was an extremely frustrating 3 seconds
bah humbug
@kobamoto
On the not-humbug tip, they're moving forward on Link...
true, that is very much not humbug
I am pleased to hear this. Don't use Praxis as yet, but from the game-theory viewpoint the more apps implementing Link the closer the tipping point etc as regards a 'must-have'.
Seems that Link's not all that's in the works...
@JohnnyGoodyear
(beta starting today)
You're a very bad man Roy....
Wait'll you see what's up with NOiZ, bigboy...
Can't hardly wait. S'been a slow few days. Played games with the family. Shouting. Quizzes. Things involving odd facts. Slugs have four noses and so forth.
