AmpKit and Apogee One
Folks, I need help with a little annoyance turned Everest-big. I bought AmpKit, because I really thinks it smokes the competition in iOS, BIAS amp included.
But if the sounds and presets are absolutely awesome, the user interface is not so. First, there is not a true global settings panel, and I need to open a preset to actually select and control the audio inputs and outputs. A questionable design choice, but no deal breaker in it.
However, it seems the app was designed to be used with toy-single-input interfaces like the original iRig or the Jam. Why I say so? I have an ApogeeOne, and I cannot select which input I want to use with AmpKit, the app showing "One" in the Hardware Input dialog box. Wasn't it expected, since you're using an Apogee One?, you may ask. But here's the absurd: the app "decided" to see only the mic input ("input 1"), meaning I cannot play guitar or bass with it and now have a nice and completely useless amp simulator. Why, Agile Partners, why?!
If there are here any AmpKit users that happen to also have an One and can actually use the app, any directions to get it working here would be much appreciated.
All the best!

I couldn't figure out how to do it in the app itself, but I did figure out a way with audiobus! In audiobus, go to the input and select System Audio Input and tap on the little "i in a circle thingy" and select Channel System 2. Then just add ampkit in the effects slot.
How do you manage to use it with the guitar input, @Flo26? Talking about the one specifically. Could you post a step by step, with screenshots if possible/
@Mattew, thank you so very much! Going to test it ASAP.
Holy cow--- 2+ years later and this solved my issue with a Steinberg UR22mkii that has 2 inputs. Amen to Audiobus (and boo to apps with no input selector) !
Great to hear this!
