Tonestack 2.0 IAPs 50% off
I've been waiting for this since 2.0 came out, I missed the release IAP discount. Right now Motherload 2.0 is $31.99. It still isn't as great of a deal as some of you got for the Motherload on version 1.0 but from everything I hear said about the app and its IAPs it is very worthwhile. So I picked it up this morning as a late winter solstice present to myself.
Time to go grab some of @Flo26 juicy presets.

Where can I get these presets?
Will they work with V1 mother ship?
@Tones4Christ I did a google search on 'tonestack audiobus presets flo26' and all or most of the posts came up in order. I went on Safari on my iPad, because they are audiobus preset format, clicked on the link and then it loaded into AB. I can't tell you if they work with V1 Motherload or if you need to have upgraded to V2, I think it depends what amps/pedals/effects are in each preset.

An example:

and the preset itself:

And upgrading mother lode 1.0 to motherlode 2.0 is also on sale. Only $9.99
Thanks!
I blame @Flo26 for making my wallet a lot lighter today - and Yonac for this sale.
I did the same. Honestly if it wasn't for the demos of all the different presets I don't think I would have known what I was missing.
I have been having so much absolute fun playing with the Marooned Wall preset, and have been finally learning how to play the various Comfortably Numb solos and it just sounds so absolutely sweet. Just having the right sound was enough motivation to really get me going.
And now I am on the hunt for a new iPad (maybe a Pro) and guitar interface... I think this is going to be a rather expensive lesson I can also blame on @Flo26 !
I did this yesterday. Now not sure I really needed it. I probably could have done without it or made more use of a whole nother app or got the AUFX bundle or something.
Of course....I don't own a bass or even a guitar. I'm using it for organ, synth effects. So yeah, maybe I'm not the smartest guy here.
Still, not the worst thing that's happened to me.
beautiful Flo.
This with tonestack I assume? preset?
Would you recommend one of the guitar apps for effects use on iphone? Jamup pro and tonestack both on sale. Would it be between these two for more conventional effects(excluding FluxFX here) on iphone?
Anyway of knowing which apps your uploads on soundcloud are using?
I have absolutely had it with Positive Grid. I know they have to make money but I can't stand their business model of replacing apps and essentially dropping upgrades for older apps. Bias has some serious QA issues still also. Anyway I prefer the ability to buy what I find to be a superior set of sounds in ToneStack much better anyway. So I've invested a total of $37 in ToneStack and got everything they offer. This is versus about $60 for the Positive Grid stuff and that didn't even get me most of their IAPs... ToneStack is just a deal by comparison... and Jam-up Pro isn't even remotely close to the base ToneStack app w/o the Motherload upgrade.
I had written out a whole rant, but I deleted it since I was starting to sound like a fan boy for Yonac Software and a real jerk about Positive Grid stuff. Anyway I prefer ToneStack. Good luck with whichever app route you choose, in the end it is really magical to be able to play guitar through an iPad and get sounds from hundreds or thousands of different combinations of amps, cabinets and FX.
I gifted tonestack, partly because of reasons you mentioned.
The one thing I find kind of disappointing or lacking with tonestack is the graphics in comparisons to the competition. As well as a couple of the UI decisions.
Flying Haggis is the deal of the bunch. Great sounds, no IAPs. But, will it be around ongoing? No updates in a very long time.
Its amazing but although Flying Haggis hasn't updated it still works great!
