Saving in MidiStep Sequencer?

Can anyone save templates?
I can't save or open new template.
The window that should show saved work is always blank, non of saved templates are listed. Saved stuff disappears.

MidiStep is always loading last work, all has to be erased manually, pattern by pattern and in case of iSem, midiStep freezes and loads iSem x 4.
Real PITA...if I there are several patterns, but I don't think this is normal...
I deleted and reinstalled a few times....Am I missing something?
Deleting a sequence asks for confirmation...why? (Yes I am sure I want to delete)

Some workflow oddness: in note edit mode (push on note and "hold" .....why can't I jus stay in edit and push on another note to edit it?
There should be a setting to random function in min<>max in octaves. Untamed, it makes an unusable sequence..
I wish there was a solo button available in each sequencer, without having to go to pattern mix...

It works for me. I have several 4XiSEM sets saved, deleting, saving and making a new set all works. iPad4.

Thanks both of you, I got to look better what's happening... I click on save, the window opens I write name save, the usual....LOL...something is not going right...
On air 2, iOS 9.2

It saves automatically, so when you do a 'save as' it probably make a copy with a different name.

I think Yowza is talking about another app, I could be wrong but midiSTEPs developer name's Arthur and it loads the last session for me too.

Thanks for catching that! Yes I was talking about a totally different app! Deleting my original comment to avoid confusion.

No problem. I'm guessing midiSequencer? That's easy to confuse with MidiStep Sequencer.

@yowza , are you talking about midi Pattern Sequencer.....?

@firejan82 , I don't find anything in "save" window, it is empty, no matter where I click
When I click on save "new set name" opens. I write name and save. Click on save again opens same window, clicking on it opens a bigger one with "save" and "save as" ...
But inside is always empty...
Weird, not the first time I try to save something....

Hmmm, sounds strange. Maybe try making a new set, so you'll have 2 maybe then they'll appear in the save menu.

Not by my iPad so I can't verify but is there a chance midisteps needs you to explicitly hit the Send or whatever button on the iOS keyboard vs its own save button? Lots of apps seem to get weird in that area for me.

@syrupcore, you nailed it down...thanks a bunch....I have to hit "return" and then it works ...Save has nothing to do with saving, it's only a place where it's saved....
It is a bit weird...alternative logic

I think this app could use a bit of refining...like patterns have individual settings, (each sequencer has only global setting), jump to any note in edit mode, solo/mute in each sequencer...without having to go in mix...But a great sequencer...

@syrupcore, believe me I never ask so many noob questions on windows system
