Any way to delete in-app purchases from Korg Module

I downloaded Korg Module a few months ago and purchased both the Ivory and Premier Organ in-apps. However I'm looking to keep Module but delete the in apps because I am honestly not using them. Within the app I have not found any option to remove them and I uninstalled and reinstalled it but for some reason Ivory and Premier appear when Module finishes the download. This leads me to believe that the in-apps are somewhere in the ipad and don't get deleted when you remove Module. Does anyone know of any way to remove them? I can use ifunbox or other methods if needed to remove them.

Comments

  • If I remember correctly, Gadget and Module shares the same downloadable content between each other (ivory, organ etc). Have no idea where it's located though

  • Uninstall Module and then re install, it will then install without the IAP's

  • @Grobles87 - unless you're on iOS 8.2 or lower, iFunbox (and similar) will not be of any help.

    Found this: http://www.musicappblog.com/korg-module-launched/
scroll down to the second from the end comment.

It sound like you would have to remove both Module and Gadget, as the IAP's are shared.

But I don't have Gadget. Only Module and iM1 from Korg. Another thing that is kinda strange is that I know Ivory is a 2gb download. I have my ipad mini 2 16gb maxed out but when I delete Module it says that the storage available is 1.8gb, not 3.8 or 4gb as it should when uninstalling Module and all in-apps.

Sounds like an issue Korg need to look into/fix. They told me back at release that deleting both apps would get rid of the IAPs (unless I'm getting senile here). But since you don't have Gadget, deleting Module should be enough.

  • @Grobles87 - if you don't have any other Korg Apps (Gadget), then as @ChrisG suggests, contact Korg for resolution OR wipe your iPad and start over. I guess maybe jailbreaking it would give you access to the iOS file system and then you would just have to find where they are. Seems a bit extreme, but?

How do I go wiping my ipad? I only use my ipad as a live music module and for some games so it wouldn't be that much of a loss. I can always backup my stuff before wiping and the other things I have are on my dropbox account. Wiping sounds like the best alternative for me right now.

Settings -> general -> reset (and choose Erase all content..)

Edit: This will put it back to factory settings, and wipe everything, so make sure you've got a backup of things you don't want deleted.

  • I managed to solve the problem I had. It was a very simple solution but I wanted to share my findings for anyone else that may have this situation. All I had to do was to delete all Korg apps in my ipad. This meant Module and iM1. It was kind of strange because I still don't understand how iM1 works with Ivory or Premier (or even if it does at all).
