I have issues....
I have $20 left in App Store credits, and I have convinced myself that there isn't anything that I really want, so I'll just save it for later. I updated Pro Q and Pro C in Auria, and.... I did buy GeoShred before Christmas.
I'm sure this is a momentary aberration. I'll come to my senses very soon. Or just continue to realize that if I spent the next year actually figuring out how to use what I have, I'd be a very busy boy.

You're lucky you have an iPad with which to (conceivably) audition a larger number of apps over time. I have just about run out of iPhone-compatible music apps to look into and if you're at the end, good on yer!
There is always more...
My new year thang. I deleted 20 apps giving me some space on my iPad to actually save some music.
I cut down my app wish list by over two thirds.
There are a few apps I would like to delete but don't want to lose the content (Gadget amongst others) if I do a backup to Mac is there a way to restore the content if I reinstall the apps?
Can't help I'm afraid, as I no longer have a working computer, so no apps are backed up. I lose things often, but just start again. Anything I need seriously loop wise, I put into Auria and backup from there.
The only things I would really miss are my synth presets.
No worries Fruity. That's one of the biggest problems with Gadget, no way to export/import projects.
Maybe I will just go and export them as a final audio track and stick them in dropbox. I guess if there are tracks I haven't finished after all this time then I probably never will.
I used to hoard things when I used a computer years ago. A sample for every occasion. Hundreds of unfinished song clips, loops and noises.
Now I just find what I want or create it at the time. Thing is that it's all fun for myself and nothing has the importance of attachment to work or money. I would find iOS a pain if it had to be securely backed up.
I have issues too, just generally...
I do get what you are saying but I see it the same as keeping a sketchbook. Some days you flick through and find something which spurs some new direction or approach.
Agreed it can help, especially to get a new look on an idea after some time. Amazing how different something sounds with some time away from it.
Ifunbox should allow you store your work, but things like settings would depend on how gadget stores that info.
I do delete stuff fairly regularly.
