It can if you use the built in editor to view one of the settings then turn edit off and minimize the app.. Reopen it and go to the options and it will ask to save the template.. Just save it as a different name.. bang. presets. :-)
Ahhh...good workaround @Ryan! Thanks for that one.
Thanks Ryan. Bm2 template working now. Good stuff with preset work around
Hey guys... I've been busy in my work and personal life, first time I've been back to the forum since March I believe. But thanks for thinking about me!
I have a new version of that Animoog template. It is much more streamlined (IMO, you may not think so) and offers more control from less pages (but it still has the mad pads page)
I also stole a sequencer from an older template by the guru Antonio Blanca and dropped it in there... it's minimal, but functions very well.
Also, as a side note, hopefully I bothered the guys at Moog enough that they will be including the ability to map and control the points created on the Origin/XY screen in Animoog, so that you can maneuver each individual point as opposed to only the center 'origin'
I'll post it up here this weekend.
Glad to have ya back @uglykidmoe! I think we all need to figure out how to get around that "work" hurdle that saps precious music creation time away from us! ;-)
So good to see you back @uglykidmoe. You've been missed. Who else will get my Ween references. Boognish. :-P lol seriously though, is there a way to import that animoog mappings you included? I can't seem to find a way to get them into my Animoog at all. :-/
@funjunkie27 @Nicebutfun No problem! :-)
@ryan, I know you can save cc mappings in Animoog. Maybe @uglykidmoe can grab them with ifunbox and then post it with the lemur template? If it's even worth the effort... Compared to typing the mappings in manually.
@Hmtx You can download them from Animoog, just can't get them into animoog. The problem is that his lemur templates points the CC's to Animoog and for me to go in and manually set up the cc's inside animoog is tough, probably easier to make my own template. But he did include an Animoog CC file.. I just don't know how to put it inside Animoog. I don't have iFunbox.. Will that solve my problem?
So, @uglykidmoe, in Animoog xy grid you want to be able to change the points on the path via MIDI? Could be nice.
While I'm hijacking this thread... what I really want from Moog is a preset up/down MIDI binding!
@Ryan Good to be back. Yeah, you'll have to use iFunBox or a similar program to add the mappings file to the folder. Sorry for unclear/wrong instructions. It is correct that you can get the files out, but not in through ITunes file sharing.
iFunBox is well worth the free download.
@Hmtx I do. Or really with any other language, but I don't know what they've implemented under the hood of Animoog other than MIDI.
@ryan ifunbox is SOOO easy and free. Just plug in you iPad to a PC, load ifunbox and browse folders windows style.
The ifunbox websites seem to promote their ios apps, and it ends up making it sound more complicated, but for simple music app access on your PC, you just need the exe program and a sync cable.
@uglykidmoe @hmtx sweet, Thanks guys. :-))
