Need audio interface advice.
Hello. I'm looking to find a device that will allow me to use synths on my iPhone 4 and record them onto my ipad mini in stereo. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what would work. I already have a cck kit for my mini and can pick up any other cables I may need. Thanks for any help!

One route you could go would be from the iPhone into a stereo 1/8" plugged into a stereo 1/4 " adapter plugged into an apogee jam running into an ipad. I use this setup myself so I know it works.
Something like this would work to go from 1/8 to 1/4;

I'm sure there are probably a dozen other ways to get there too, but I can personally speak for this one.
I was looking into the apogee jam but its a mono not stereo input correct?
I use iRig cause it's all I have. Looking to update soon. Here is a quick tutorial on how I do it. http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/77/using-input-apps-that-dont-support-audiobus-with-audiobus-on-2-devices#Item_9 There is some good information on that thread if you read down.
I use the Behringer UCA202 with a 3.5" to RCA adapter from Monoprice.
The Behringer is a nifty, inexpensive solution and draws no power so it works without a powered hub. Here's an example:
Note the 202 and 222 are the same, they just have different colors and come with different software.
For this purpose I use a PhotonX25 Alesis which offers 2Audio IN 2Audio out, midi in & out, a midi keyb with controlers... Connected via Usb camera plug. Very cheap on the 2nd hand market, i got mine for 50€. Dont need any driver, powered by batteries. Good keyboard. And audio interface.

miguelmarcos went ahead and ordered the 222. Thanks for the suggestion and video. Should be perfect for my needs!
