Turnado or FluxFX

A generalised and sweeping question I know, but, which should I buy ?
I would be primarily using it for live fx mainly for dub style delays, stutters and filters

Comments

  • Instrumentally speaking, Flux;Fx

    Synthetically speaking, Turnado

Dub, stutter, and filter, you should tick Turnado.

  • I love the delay and reverb of flux, and the stutter fxs of turnado

    IMHO
    For guitar or synth> flux
    For beat > turnado

    They are both great

  • I would not want to be without both and echo what has been said already

  • yes. Both. Lovely.

  • you guys are awesome :)

  • i use turnado for guitar effects just because it does the weirdest sh*t I've ever heard. In a good way.

I am sort of wishing I bought flux instead. I am having trouble taming turnado and getting useful things out of it. So many little controls. I have tried turning the dry/wet down but a lot of the presets at least either take over the original sound or don't do enough.
I may have to spend more time with those tiny knobs. I rarely have this problem with effects apps.

I've found the sliders in the Auria version of Turnado help to tame it :)

  • Flux works best for me when it's onscreen and i'm playing it like an instrument. I never learned the step sequencer.

  • If you're into rhythmical stuff go Turnado, if ambient, dreamy etc. go Flux.

  • You get many more 'happy accidents' as Novation call it- with Turnado.

    Especially when using Mr Dictator

I've come to understand blind adoration of the dictator.
