Pitch correction/autotune?

Im looking for a realistic autotune or pitch correction (whatever you want to call it). I dont want the ones that give you the shitty T-Pain effect, i want one which is studio quality and doesnt make you sound like a robot. Thanks for the help!!

  • VoiceJam Studio and VoiceJamFX are the best on iOS to my ear. They are created by TC Helicon.

  • Auto-Tune Mobile is ok, but it's always been a bit buggy for me:

And I've heard mixed reviews about Auria's ReTune... some people seem to love it and others hate it. I haven't had a chance to try it myself.

Agreed, although if you're just after the autotune FX, save a buck and get TC Helicon's VoiceRack: FX app. I think it's on sale for $3.99 right now, and one single preset "Pitch Assist" is the best, most transparent vocal pitch correction I've heard on iOS ;)

ReTune can help save some backing vocals in a pinch, and has for me, but it also has a bad habit of actually changing the tone of the vocals it's applied to. Hence the negative reviews.

  • Also worth a mention in this category is Harmony Voice by Virsyn. It does pretty good pitch correction but the real power is that you can create four part harmonies, either automatically or following what you play on a keyboard. It can sound robotic if you push the parameters, but with the right settings it can sound very good.

  • I used the one in MTS to fix some guitars. :) works pretty good.
