The LINK wishlist
What apps would be most imporatnt to you to get Link?
for me Samplr, Auria Pro, Egoist, Borderlands would be a nice start
Comments
DrumJam would be awesome.
MTS and AP obviously.
StepPoly Arp.
Genome would be great too. Love that midi remix pad.
SugarBytes Effectrix
It only needs a tempo to be in-synch with on AB chain.
Cubasis, MTS, attack, drumjam, sector, igrand.
+1 for thumbjam and drumjam
I'm beta testing a synth update that has Link for Arpegiator and LFOs. It's great
Drum jam update is about to drop :-)
With link??
@sonosaurus said he just implemented it on one of the other threads about link to MIDI.
Every drum machine or sequencer should be Link-ed.
I'd like to see Thesys and Rebirth in.
WerkBench
All of them
nuff said.
Kirnu Cream...and, though I hate to mention it-- because mentioning it around here makes me feel like I rode in to Sturgis on a scooter --but I would like to see Figure get LINKable
Impaktor
i wish i was 5'10".

+1 for Figure and Rebirth!
Xynthesizr
Auxy
Samplr
Yes - both those too. That would be great on the iPhone.
Considering the jam-oriented angle Ableton's pushing, I think some performance specific apps may find new life with Link— DFX, Chordion, Guitar Capo, Arp Pro, Gumdrops and the like. The Sugar-Bytes apps are a given. I'm personally waiting for iVCS3, Sunvox and Gestrument.
I had kind of hoped there would already be some new arrivals by now. Hopefully, it is due to Ableton's being choosy with their SDK, and not due to the difficulty of implementation, although if that difficulty is because the dev has to finally bring their midi implementation up to snuff I guess it will be worth it.
I think it could be Apple taking very long to approve the updates after the holiday break. I just got an update for Skype today that introduces some x-mas themes and cards as the only new feature listed.
I urgently need Sector & Nave
and some tempo synced delay with link
everybody is busy now.
oh and how about apple to support link in garageband?
I need something decent to record into now.
looking at everybodys twitter feeds
jonathan has the sdk, so sector is in the works I guess,
Rolf is messing with hardware
Steinberg is silent
maybe ableton releases next week?
(their beta cycle timing is getting funny)
Every Music App that's in Audio Bus needs it, that has midi core.
Everything with a Digital Pulse/Beat.........
They have the SDK and are evaluating is all I can get from the forums,
The problem that any dev's who support audio tracks has is that if they don't have real-time time-stretch they cannot properly support link as they cannot change the tempo of the audio tracks. This is the same reason that they offer MIDI Clock but as master only.
Link has no Master/Slave so they effectively have 3 options
Unless they already have real-time time-stretch or the inclusion of a third party time-stretch under development I think it will be some time before we see link support in Cubasis.
Word.
