Cubasis Precount

Looks like the Precount in Cubasis not working. Can someone verify?

Comments

  • I was wondering about that, it counts in but the metronome isn't working. It counts kind of strange too or maybe I just never noticed.

My metronome works but there's no precount regardless of how many beats I set it to. It was working before update.

  • You have to have count enabled in "record mode" on the tool bar. This was confusing at first but I believe this will solve the issue.

  • Bizarre eh? Mine counts 2.1.2.3.4. 1.1.2.3.4 then starts.

  • It starts the count wherever the play head is. So if you're parked on beat 3 that's where it starts.

  • @Mythmongrel Thanks. That did it.

  • @mgmg4871 you're welcome. I'm always asking for help, it's nice to be able to give some.

  • Mine counts that way too. Not exactly intuitive, but it is counting down two bars, just as I selected in the settings. I just didn't expect the count to look like that, but it does make sense now. They're starting at measure two, count four beats, decrement to measure one then four more beats. They even prefix it with a negative sign to indicate the pre-count.

  • It's nice to have a quick way to turn off the count when setting up a punch. So you can just roll into it. I'll be using this feature a lot.

  • Ok I get it now. Thanks Mythmongrel.

  • The metronome makes NO SOUND when using anything other than inter-app devices. So, when using Audiobus for an app with Cubasis, no metronome sound is present. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
