Quick question, what app would you recommend for being (midi) triggered by a roland electronic drum kit, regarding quality drum sounds (multisampled), ease of setup, ... ?

Depends on what drum sounds you want. 'Real' or 'Digital sounding'.
For "Real" I know DrumJam has lots of multi sampled instruments - and a few electronic ones.
Or for drum synths try iElectribe (full control over midi CCs if you map to them), elastic drums or SeekBeats

DrumPerfect for real also.
DrumJam is good combo of MIDI In note triggering, ease of use and quality drum/percussion sounds (more on the realistic side, but some electronic sounding stuff too). Diode108 is the same but the drum sounds are more of the classic drum machine variety, if that's what you want (you can also import sounds).
