Lame basic controller question

I know how basic this is but for some reason I don't have a solution. All I want is to pick up my phone and have an XY pad to control Zebra on my desktop. I want to be able to have the X and Y control whatever parameters are assigned in Zebra (like resonance, cutoff etc... whatever it may be). I want it to be always readily available. I had the big idea to use Klevgrand's Weeel! but its got permanent pitch bend on the x-axis. What would you all use to do this.

UPDATE EDIT: nevermind! MidiMe works great for this.

ok, cool. thanks. MidiMe apparently does not save the controller recording in the preset. Shame cause its so handy having that capability!

Thanks @Hmtx . Did the trick. Was able to create the controllers without reading the manual!!

  • ^ this. is why I use MIDI Designer. :)

by the way MIDI Designer Limited should allow 12 pages of X/Y pads.

Also the dev created a free tool to send MIDI over your lightning cable to a mac, its called "Music IO" by Power Trio
