Audiobus, Cubasis and Two Instrument Sources
Hi folks,
I'm new here, this is my first post. I got an iPad Pro over the holidays and have purchased a few pieces of software and am trying to learn what my production flow is going to look like for music recording. I've chosen Cubasis as my DAW and Audiobus to help with signal flow. I'm using iFretless Bass and iFretless Brass as my instrument sources, and an external midi keyboard with a Casio lightning midi adapter.
Here's what my Audiobus setup looks like:

And here's what my Cubasis setup looks like:

When I play my keyboard, I hear a beautiful sound of both the Brass and the Bass playing simultaneously, which is what I'm trying to capture in Cubasis. I've got two separate audio tracks set up and have chosen to receive the audio from each app in the track setup - you can see evidence of this in the track how each app's icon is shown on each track. When I hit record with both tracks enabled, I'm only recording the audio from the Brass - the Bass is missing.
It seems to me like this should work - is this a bug of some sort, or am I missing something conceptually?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

No your streaming both the instruments to the same track in cubase. What you need to do is open up another track in Audiobus by pressing the + sign in the upper right hand corner. Then move one of your instruments over to the new track then open Cubasis as the output in that track well. Now Cubasis well record both track at the same time on their on tracks like you want.
Maybe each app with its own lane in audiobus instead of the two apps in one lane.
@interactivenyc something like this setup.
Thanks for your suggestions - they all make sense! I will try these when I get a chance and report back with my future success!
Each app in its own lane did the trick. Thanks again!!!
