Interesting sequencer....so far can't get it to play external app, only internal sound.
It popped up here before, don't remember why I deleted it....
I have it controlling other apps (Magellan for instance). Check your MIDI settings on both devices.
Maybe it's me but it seems flaky. Changing parameters doesn't always do anything. Not sure what to think and haven't seen a video yet.
Thanks @anickt , I had the midi part wrong...playing now..
I contacted the developer and Trigger Sequencer will be on the Bus as soon as it gets approved.
It is a very interesting sequencer, monophonic, but with very sophisticated settings, resulting in polyrhythmic rhythms.
64 steps, (global step reset is 128 steps), set: loop start/end, probability, sequence length per each of 4 tracks. Speed, offset, beat...
A freebie worth trying![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Thanks for the heads up.
Minimal enough to be scary....
Will give it a run once it's on the bus.
Looks like it's not free anymore.
Version 1.2 is already available in the App Store, featuring Audiobus support![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
In this case I would really like to see a video...
Fantastic, thanks a lot for that....Been checking daily.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Johnny be brave
There is really not much mystery to this app. 4 independent sequencers, playing 1 note each, slaved to master clock.
The global step goes to 128 steps. Each track can do up to 64 steps.
Selectable begin/end and length per sequencer.
Each sequencer has timing, speed ranging from 1/32 to1/8 and steps can be in 1 to 16, probably 1/16 to whole note intervals.
Notes can be offset and delayed and set to probability.
Best way to figure it out is to use 1 track and experiment with various settings, agains a 1/4 tick...
I used it with a drum machine like DPP, assigned four drums, or with iSem...
Really fun app capable of creating interesting rhythms.
It boggled my brain a bit![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Maybe it's me but I couldn't get consistent results...![:o :o](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)
Just recorded this quick video:

@anickt what do you mean by not consistent results?
It's probably just me not grasping the concept. I'll check out the video and work with it some more and get back to you.
then maybe the video won't be clear enough for you as it is not showing taps. let me try to make something better :-)
@anickt try checking this:

@musicstudioberlin Thanks for the effort. I will go and actually poke and prod at it
My initial feeling (note the word feeling) was pretty and minimal grey box with no instructions go running away fast quickly which is what I did....
I also guess that the perfect video would be made by someone who really knows nothing and is starting nowhere as regards any specific app. This is the particular (and easy to underestimate) skill of Sir Doug @thesoundtestroom.
@musicstudioberlin And, of course, 20 minutes later, running a simple Sunrizer noise and some linked Patterning, I am a complete believer
Funny how actually making some music will do that...
I totally get your point. But I'm glad that people finally likes the concept regardless of the aesthetics :-p
I'd give away some promo codes if anybody is up to make a nice demo video :-)
It will make more sense once It's used against a solid clock app, for example patterning with Link and empty pattern except a cowbell on downbeat 1/4 notes.
....and sending midi from Triiger seq. to iSem for example
Than fiddling with one note/track only to see the results of the interaction of all the features...and counting beats helps, if start/end are set to something else than 1 to 16
Also the "offset " makes it possible to play more notes at the same time...
That did it. Thanks! Now I'm in the groove!![B) B)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
Bummer. Only works on IOS 9.
Such disappoint.
@Sonicflux just sent you an email
Now available in the App Store a new minor update (v1.2.1) solving some bugs and supporting iOS 8.
Cheers!
Anyone know what's up with Trigger Seq? Its no longer available on the uk AppStore. It is still listed on Abletons website as available with link
