Can you sync start Auria pro, and fugue machine?
I can get tempo sync. But, I am trying to record MIDI, and I simply want to be able to press play in either, and control both apps with a sync start. Why is this so hard? What am I missing?

If you put fugue in input. Auria in output. Press the record button in auria then If you press the start button on the AB tab both apps will start at the same time.
Default is it will record audio, but I'm sure you can set it up to record midi as well
Weird, I can now use audiobus to start/stop, but the sync is gone.
In other words, I can't get Fugue Machine to write a quarter note into the first midi note of a beat when I press play.
