I would love to see a tremendous mellotron app.with all the tape banks and half speed support and rhythm master tapes with keyboard split.I would pay 50 euros for this stuff. In the quality level of m-tron pro.It would be great if it was a korg module expansion. But I need all the stuff, chamberlin and artists tape banks.Am I the only retrofreak here?

    Have you seen this?

  • I would like developers Sonic Charge to get with the times and port their classic Synplant over to iOS where it will find a new life due to the interface already being well suited for touchscreen. For those familiar, imagine designing the sound by simply running your finger freely up and down the genome, the parameters snapping to your touch point. For those not familiar, the genome is a dna helix shaped interface containing every single parameter of the synth on its strands on one screen. I emailed them, no response. One can dream.

Would like to see an effect app that does automatic reverse reverb fx!
And all of the above ideas are good too.

There's a reverse reverb fx in tonestack that works pretty well.

  • Oh. How could I forget. IKaossilator 2 with sample import and a gosh darn volume knob on each part!

I have seen it and although I love it as a tron lover, it needs some updates in matters of purity(half speed, tape noise) and so as to work well on the ios 9 and also some more sounds so as to be as close to the real thing. No master tapes. Not all the banks.
Not to mention super manetron and mellotron XL apps that have stayed in 2010 in matters of functionality inside the ios.

I need a new app now.

  • Beatmaker3 is all for me. I've clean-slated my pad this year. All I'm working with at the moment is Gadget. I will expand into AuriaPro this Spring, and eventually Patterning...but that'll be it. I need to focus on simply making quality music, and making certain my ideas get fully realized.

  • CUBASIS 2:
I would love to see Cubasis looked at and redesign the layout some.. It is a great app, but I find the more it grows - the more cluttered it becomes for "ME"... (I think mostly the browser maybe)
It needs to be looked at in the IOS platform and move away from the desktop Cubase format as a template maybe.. There are many apps that break the barrier of the desktop examples..
    --- Boarderlands
    --- SoundPrizm
    --- Samplr
    --- Nodebeat
    --- Patterning
    --- Audibus
--- It needs a fold button in the midi editor to gain better control in editing the midi notes (yes - like Ableton).
--- I personally think the effects need work to bring it up to it's potential - It seems to take a lot of effort to gain control over the effects and have them work right for "ME" - I realize that is probably isolated to my own mirror (haha)
--- I think the idea of the pad assignment to scales/note and chords should be looked at and built up as a feature (maybe something like KLIMPER) - this app is an affortable stepping stone to a bigger picture for many just beginning - Cubase has some amazing tools to help the novice begin understanding putting chords together thru suggestions (this would be a great fit for that to be added to Cubasis).

    PATTERNING NOTE/BASS SEQUENCER:
I would like to see Patterning develop a seperate Note/Bass Sequencer based on the Drum Machine Template they have created.
--- It seems so feasable to me to create this running side by side with the Patterning existing app.
--- I envision being able to set a note and scale and slide up notes/octaves (like the velocity pie - opening page of Patterning). - it could have the layers for - tie/slide - velocity - effects..randomizing.....
--- It would be Patterings version of the 303 to the 808.

----- Then a mixer pull up screen between them to play live maybe...

    OBSCUREUM - FOR IOS
---- I think this would just be a fun IOS app
Better than the desktop version in my mind for some reason...

    SYNTHPLANT - (mentioned by db909)
--- Sounds like a good fit on a IOS surface

    LINK 2 -
---- What if LINK not only LINK'ed TIMING between devices ?

--- I see LINK developed into a LINK of everything....... something much grander - a virtual iCONNECTIVITY so to say.....

    ----MIDI LINK
    ----AUDIO LINK
---- Everything connected and passed over the air (magical like Unicorns)!!!

  • Xfer serum or sylenth ported.
