IMPC Style app: USE OWN SAMPLES?
Looking for IMPC styled app that can import Dropbox/ Audioshare/Paste?
I am also looking for a smaller sized app. I realize BM and Nano, however, I need something that burns light so I can run 2 or 3 other apps at same time smoothly.
Appreciate ideas.

what about beat machine?
What's an iMPC style app? Something with pads and samples? Chopping? Sequencing?
Think running lighter than NS might be a tall order but Beat Machine seems a good place to start.
Beathawk.
Ah, yes.
I forgot I had that.
Good idea.
Oh, basic triggering and pad play for custom samples I have done and want to use in a piece.
Beat Machine it looks like it will probably be.
Maybe I will test Nano vs. Beat Machine and see which is less CPU unless someone knows definitively?
I dunno definitively but I do recall that if you use Beat Machine's sample rate reducer that it actually uses more resources so keep that in mind if you're trying to compare.
Check it out EasyBeats3 as well. I don't remember how long is the wav you can paste/import in.
Yeah, I love the factory sounds on that, just ackward for import and use.
I almost forgot, Triq Traq woould work I think.
Not sure about Dropbox support, but iMaschine was finally updated with audio copy/paste. It is fairly lightweight and is definitely an MPC-style app.
I forgot about that !!
You are right!
What about Launchpad?- easy importing, you can 'play' the pads/samples- record at the same time, and it has effects. May be worth a look.
Yeah, I use actual LPad for my Loops, I am looking for something IN ADDITION to a Launchpad or Launchpad App for single hits or shots.
I went with IMaschine as to its great functionality.
THANKS
