  • Im waitng a Roland sampler but i like korg volcas too and this looks cool

  • I have the Sample, Bass and Keys and it now looks like I'll be adding an FM Volca to the list.

the one to the right looks like a volca sample [with the ok go decal/look] the other two to the left i think are the new electribes from last year. and the dude on the back is playing with the minilogue

if it had been a new volca though, im sure we would have known by now... right?

I was put off the volcas because of the tiny fragile looking knobs, how are they for durability and useability ?

No problems with the knobs on any of them and there hasn't been any change in their resistance. They're tuffer than they look.

Cool, thanks for the feedback, I might need to re-adjust this years spending policy then, although I'll need a mixer first I guess.

build quality is surprisingly good for what they cost.. I tested out the Volca beats but as a stand alone unit found it somewhat limited in use, was going to pick up a volka sample until i found out each sample is on its own midi channel :/

  • I'm loving the Eurorack goodness from Waldorf and the Zplane Emu like filters too :)

Shame I'm too poor to go Eurorack lol

I did the same with Volca Beats, I figured I would use it as much as I do iElectribe, which is very occasionally for a Kick drum, but the Bass and FM i would definitely get plenty of use from :)
