Multi Threading in iOS?!

So, now that Logic Pro X finally got the long awaited multi threading support which let me use at least about 5 times more tools, synths, FX at the same time live as before i ask me how iOS DAW´s handle this.
I didn´t expect such a huge boost in performance, it´s almost like i had bought a 5 times faster notebook 
A while ago i saw in the NanoStudio forum that iOS seems to not allow to use the full cpu for music apps and that this is even more limited on newer devices. NanoStudio uses the trick to max. the audio cpu but also here is 70% the limit. It seems also that there is no proper multi threading as well!
Anyone has more insight into this. I think there could be such a huge boost in performance too on iOS devices?!?!?!
