Just tested fixes and added feature. Everything's working. MT Daw has competition now with more features. I really like this daw.

Update: I got double tracks when arming apps in AB. Not sure what's happening there. Will keep testing and follow up.

  • I like the features in this app, but it was too buggy before. I was hoping this update would have addressed them, but it sounds like it still needs some work. Multiple track creation was a problem I saw before.

  • @funjunkie27 There has been some nice improvements in this app. Recordings are crystal clear. I just figured out how to use Audio copy. The double track issue only happens in AB, but its just a matter of deleting one track or disarming one. The Dev seems to be diligent in fixing and improving this app. If you have it you might want to give it another shot. One other things is when it's starts up in AB the first track is armed for mic input so you have to disarm it by clicking on record button. I still think this app has great potential and as long as Flavio keeps working on it I'll stick with it. It's not that far away.

  • Thanks for the insight @mgmg4871. I'll def give it another try...after yard work though :-(

  • I quite agree this app has some potential and in time with hard work from Flavio with updates addressing problems, things could only get better.
There is still a little shortcomings in the way it handle AB and recording audio. I know this would be addressed.

  • Here is a demo video for anyone wants to see it.

  • Thanks for the vid @Ryan. I thought the Jam was mono, but that doesn't appear to be the case. How are you doing the pic in pic? I think N-Tracks beats out MT DAW on the effects offered.

  • @funjunkie27 The Jam is mono, but Ampkit effects are stereo so that's why the stereo channel. As for the PiP.. I actually do everything on iOS.. Film with an iPhone, and edit on iPad using pinnacle. Pinnacle is how I did the PiP, I used a cheap samsung digital cam to film myself and filmed it all at once.. I used the song start as the cue for syncing the frames.. It's a lot of work for something so simple. lol

N-track also has automation.. that's a plus.. I'll do a vid on it later.

  • That makes sense with the stereo tracks. I'll check out Pinnacle. Nice to be able to do that in iOS!

@Ryan Good demo. N-Track is good when u dont want all the fuss. Just simple recording, but u get the bonus of effects also. The UI could use a update though. Flavio appears to be ontrack with updates, so it has potential to grow.

  • I agree the UI could do with a update. As Ryan state bigger controls and also a mixer view. Flavio is on track with updates and I am sure he would address the problems

  • The vid was very good....and helpful.......thanks

  • @JuniorPops @mgmg4871 Well said. I also think the app has a bright future. :-)

@kennyrox Thanks Kenny, glad you liked it :-)

  • Here is a new tutorial covering snap, splice & automation. Hope you like it.

  • See attached some good news from Flavio

    Francis,

yes we plan to add all of the features you mentioned in the next few versions. We'll also work on increasing the size of some buttons that I agree are sometimes too small to touch reliably.
The next version will be out in about 6 weeks and it will add MIDI tracks, multichannel output, a track property page where to set the track info and color, and more. The version with the full mixer is planned for a september release.

    Best regards,
    Flavio Antonioli

  • Cool. Awesome

  • Multichannel output? I assume he meant input.

  • m4a also support but only for reading ??
