Auria 2.03 update in the store
It's not NOT Auria pro.
Even though the standard Auria is no longer on my iPad, it still showed as an update on the store, which is frustrating. Surely it shouldn't show if not installed?
Without thinking, I updated and now have the standard version instead of Auria pro.

Just restore purchases in the store.
That's gonna get annoying if required every time for an Auria update.
Yes, I understand that. Just a warning to save anyone anyone else from going through the motions.
First world problems... I'm updating on 2 devices. A little annoying but things could be worse.
Also for people like me who originally updated from LE, you have to restore purchases to get LE updated to full and then once more for the Pro update...
It does sound like there's something seriously wrong with the update and it would be advised not to install it. But it is perfectly alright, although unfortunate to go through this hassle.
Right, I restored purchases and it indeed says its 2.03 so all seems o.k.
Should I delete the the original post?
Maybe just remove the "BUT BEWARE"
I update with no problems, no need to restore purchases it was all still there (this is Auria that was upgraded to Pro).
Done.
Cheers
Strange. Mine was also upgraded from the original Auria too.
Nothing strange with the update here either...
Actually, you may have to update more than twice. Depends if you have for example, puchased the additional presets. It seems to me I have to do it about 4 times from the last couple of times I've done it as I recall.
downloaded the update and the first thing i got was a message to turn off audio plugins because of ram issues. i cant remember exactly what it was. i also noticed that to delete a midi note now one has to hold as oppose to tap? i dont think i like this.
i did not have any restore purchases thing though.
What's an ipap?
It's something Rim has been made aware of and will hopefully be able to easily correct in the description @Tarekith
I'm not aware of any issues at all with the update. What's the problem exactly? I updated all three (Auria, Auria LE and Auria Pro) at the same time. Sometimes Apple releases one before the other. Was that the only issue? All three should be out now.
Rim
Thanks for the update,Rim. Now get some sleep!!!
@perestroika, the piano roll mode has been completely rewritten to be easier to use. For example highlighting is accomplished with just a single swipe now and note selections are possible by just tapping on a note. Because of this, deleting notes require a longer press than before.

The updated piano roll kicks ass. Many thanks!
The only update issue I had goes back to user error: I own Auria, didn't do upgrade path to Auria Pro (bought it outright) so some IAP purchases are on Auria and some on Pro so I have to go back and forth between them to get all the lovely toys in one place, when I upgrade. This is my bad, and given the riches, I don't give a shit about the back and forth required. Skipping the upgrade path from Auria to Auria Pro was on purpose - the whole kit is a bargain the way I see it, still feel like I owe you a dinner...
Auria Pro has a button in the settings page which will transfer all your in-app purchases from Auria into Auria Pro.
Yep that's exactly what I do- keep Auria on the iPad and transfer the stuff to Auria Pro when updating Pro. All good in the 'hood
What I mean is you don't have to re-purchase any plugins. When you press that button, all your Auria plugins will get unlocked in Pro automatically, so there's no need to repurchase them.
Rim
No problem here with the update (also did the upgrade from 1.x to Pro). No need to restore or repurchase anything.
Pap smear via FaceTime?
I know, that's just wrong.
Now I don't understand how it's possible that some people needed to restore purchases after updating and others not. For me it was like this: the update showed up for AuriaLE so I installed it. When it finished it said the demo project couldn't load because it wasn't for LE. So I restored purchases and was no longer LE. It then downloaded gog files for a few minutes. Since it still wasn't Pro I restored purchases again and it finally turned into Pro, downloading content for that as well. I got this with iPad Pro and with iPad mini 4, both on iOS 9.2.1. It's not a huge deal but I'm curious how some people didn't have to go through this.
Probably if they bought Auria Pro outright, ie. Didn't upgrade from Auria.
My copy was an upgrade from Auria to Auria Pro, and I didn't have to download or restore anything.
(And the midi editor is much improved Rim, thanks!)
This might be an Auria LE issue. I'll look into it.
Rim
For me, this is a significant improvement to the piano roll, it seems much more responsive now and the velocity draw function is very cool. Ace !
