move my . wav files from an Sd card, thumbdrive, or hard drive, to iPad ??
I have asked this question before, but what is everybody here using to get .wav files into and opened in iPad? wireless travel router/ media hub? and what apps due you use to download files from hub and to open the files in a audio app such as audioshare and Samplr?

I've seen this has anyone used it? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RVIGY1I/ref=pe_171530_161766640_em_1p_1_ti
I bought this media streamer () but the apps that go with it are very unstable. I cannot use "open in" or any other procedure to open .wav files into audioshare or Samplr. or any other audio apps.
It does fine with photos I can download those to the iPad. and I can export .wav, there just aren't any options to export .wav files from the media streamer app, and the app crashes a lot.
I'd love to hear anybody else's suggestions
Filebrowser

works well for NAS.
I use iCloud Drive to store and download audio files, loops and MIDI to and from AudioShare. Other apps are compatible with iCloud Drive also. Every iPad or iOS owner has an iCloud Drive account, 5GB free. You can expand the storage by paying monthly. I use this rather than DropBox. If you have a Mac computer, it also ties directly into iCloud Drive to read and write files.
I used Airdrop and Audioshare.... it doesn't work anymore with my setup but it was super fast and the only way for me without cable to share data!
Still have to figure out why it doesn't work anymore for me.
Sandisk media drive with SD slot and AudioShare open in works for me
I use a Kingston G2 wireless hub or Dropbox together with Audioshare.
so can you see what is on your Sandisk media drive files from within audioshare, or do you open them in a Sandisk app, and then use open-in to load the file in audioshare?
If your iPad is big enough, GB wise I find best to create a folder(s) with samples, plug in your PC and do bulk transfers from iTunes into Audioshare and then delete undesirable ones.
Otherwise as @DeVlaeminck said Filebrowser, works great but I can't do more than one file at a time.
Honestly I kind of loose patience moving one file at a time...
true, I move bulk samples via iTunes or Dropbox. but basically I want to be able to have just my Tascam field recorder, and iPad in the field. and record a sound on my Tascam, or have a thumbdrive with samples, and load them up in my iPad and manipulate them how I want. then, send them back out to my finished music thumbdrive for storage.
the audiobus forum community are awesome. I love that I can post random questions like this and get great feedback every time.
I would definitely consider that HooToo device you posted,
I already have the smaller version of it without a battery. It works great with FileBrowser. Edit: Not sure about transfering batches and zip files, something like GoodReader might do better.
Yes - the second one
GoodReader is my Files app .
Re: wifi drives ; you might want to consider a combined device that includes a usb battery pack with a wi fi router & drive . There is the advantage of being able to change micro/Sd cards so you're not limited to a fixed drive size . . (Edit: although the uSB data port allows a USB drive e.g 1TB travel to be accessed so no need for microsd cards )
The battery can also power usb hubs for external devices & some seem capable of charging Ipad @2.1A although the older model/ diffferent brand of these I bought didn't .
Mine works well enough, download is ok though upload very slow .No slower than Dropbox deliberately limited upload speed though.

However , it seems there is a new type of Apple MFI Lightning drives appearing on the market , approved by Apple ! which plug into the Lightning port .
Leef iBridge , Sandisk iXpand & Time2 seem the most recommended of the fixed size drives , although it's early days & there are SDK teething issues & buggy apps it seems .
I'm holding out for micro/sd card reader versions such as Leef iAccess to have expandability with extra cards .
On a FB Ipad Musician Group thread about these Lightning Drives , Kymatica dev said he would look into implementing Leef SDK ( for iBridge / iAccess ) into Audioshare.
