    One of my little white cube shaped iPhone chargers shocked the hell out of me, when I touched the metal back plate of the iPod touch it was plugged into, while holding an electric guitar (touching the strings) in the other hand. I measured the voltage difference between the iPod and the building's safety ground, about 70 volts (50v DC + 20v AC)! We couldn't establish if it was an official apple charger or knockoff. Something leaking inside onto the sync cable ground.

    It was, until the UK got flooded with cheap Chinese imports posted through cheap globalisation, with no sense of health and safety and no sign of a BS kite mark anywhere.

    The plug from my Air2 broke about 2 weeks ago, the grey moulderd section fell off exposing the terminals. I threw it out as it was broken, so no free replacement for me.
