CD's
Wow! Anyone remember them ??
I need to create an Audio CD (not MP3 disc) of around 15 tracks. Easy peasy ... But I need the tracks to Segue into one another by a couple of seconds. They need to flow smoothly as INDIVIDUlAL tracks with no glitch at the start/end of each track. some self compressing/levelling of each track would be advantageous
Not asking much am I ?

The Sony CD authoring tool I had in an old Acid Pro bundle was the bomb, it could do all of that and more. No idea if they still make it or what it was even called. I'm talking out 10+ years ago.
Not sure what system your using, but on Windows quite a few freebies do what you need, in that you require gapless playback? If so you'll need to edit and prepare you're tracks prior to burning, chopped at the correct track start position, then make sure the burning program has 'disc at once' for gapless playback.
Also make sure it doesn't have an option or preference for a 2 second gap between tracks, some apps have that since it's a Red Book standard. Not that anyone follows it anymore, but worth checking.
If you need help trying to prep the tracks to be gapless, ask here and I'll be happy to help.
I haven't burnt an Audio CD in quite some time but, if memory serves me correctly, you could encounter compatibility problems on the playback device, using gapless, also depends on the Audio CD brand and it's density.
I have some wax cylinders that are still in fairly good condition.
Audio, or data?
Try this (it's free):

Making me miss Wavelab 3! And Sadie.
You could always 3d print you're own album, though not quite up to vinyl standard yet, it's getting there.
Still a looooong way to go
Well there your answer for anyone wanting to know how to "make my tracks super lo-fi with weird LFOs"...
Rofl the sound of the printer cut onto the plate is awesome
Yes "gapless" playback, but 15 individual tracks not one continuous track so the individual tracks can be selected at random. ive tried a couple of freebie download called Acoustica ...but it creates one continues track or 2 second gap between tracks.
wouldnt open after installation .... something about a missing folder !
Haven't used it in awhile but maybe doing your own mix of the 15 songs with fades and then adding track makers in Audacity or something like that would work... I had and old Roland CDX that would do this perfectly...
Found this Audacity link...

Perfect, now where's the AB/AU Plug-In to make things sound like that
Thanks for the heads up but isn't that splitting one continuos mix into individual tracks where my tracks already are ... Individual tracks !?
I've never tried making a mix from a playlist, always mixed them live with fades and the track markers...
Maybe making a real cassette mix tape with pause and rec/play would be easier...
I know there is something out there...
You have to create fades and such in Acoustica...

I use it without any problems.
